Life is changing here at Chateau Tabitha.
- After almost a year, we are now weeks away from being a licensed foster home. Once we sign the foster care agreement with the Ministry, it will be mere hours until a baby or toddler is placed with us.
- Our new business is up and running. The website has been launched, tweets and posts and pins are flying about cyberspace, and we’ve already sold two weekly subscription boxes. Check it out here.
- Both my baby girls are now laying, despite the harsh, cold winter we’ve had so far. I’m so proud of my little Saskatchewan mutts!
- I took a professional development workshop over the weekend, and although it wasn’t the best experience, it was a good reminder that I don’t need a theatre to hire me in order to be creative.
So all this disjointed babbling is a way to avoid saying what I actually wrote this post to say.
It’s time to go.
Things are changing and so must my blog. It really feels like the right time to move on. I’m in a totally different place in my life than I was when I started this blog almost two years ago. It’s been a fabulous place to explore, and ramble, and document my life experiences over the past two years. I even felt like a real writer some days. The reflection it allowed me was invaluable, and it has provided direction. I don’t feel nearly as lost in my life when I can sit down and write about it.
And, of course, thank YOU for reading it. It’s a safe, cozy comfort to know that you care and are interested in my tiny life. I hope I was able to entertain, and let a bit of light into your lives because you certainly lit up mine. Thank you for all the “likes” and the comments and the great conversations.
Here’s the best part, though. Although it’s time to move on, it doesn’t have to be goodbye. As part of our new business, I will be blogging all about being an urban farmer over on our new website – www.urbanafarms.ca/blog.
(As you can tell, I’ll be taking up my fair share of Internet real estate with this new venture.)
I hope you join me. I look forward to hearing from you.
