A while back, I took a class on how to make raw chocolate. Though I loved the class and the chocolate, I never did get around to buying all the necessary ingredients to make it at home.
Then a couple of days ago, I stumbled upon this recipe for Coconut Oil Chocolates, and had to give them a try. I already had all the ingredients in my pantry.
It was so easy. It took about five minutes from start to finish to make the chocolates. Then you chill them in the freezer for 30 minutes, and they’re ready. And delicious. And healthy. Coconut oil, honey, and raw cacao – super yummy.
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

Thank you for sharing this! I had saved the same recipe and wanted to make it last week. When I went to get the recipe, I couldn’t find it. I did find other ones but the ingredients were different. So happy you posted this!
They are quite yummy. My one tip would be to constantly be whisking in the honey while pouring the chocolate into the moulds. I ended up with most of the honey in two pieces of very delicious chocolate, and none in the others. I also tried adding stevia powder, but it gave them a weird, chalky aftertaste. Good luck!
Thanks for the tip. Just going to make a batch or two now. I don’t have the molds but I did read you could just pour it into a shallow pan and cut it into pieces. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
Turned out great. I’ll post about it tomorrow. Thanks again!
Awesome! Can’t wait to read your post 🙂

I’m so sad. I saw Bead Den’s post and wanted to try it but I can’t get the link. Not to worry, I’ve got some Cadburys somewhere!
Oh no! I re-linked it, so hopefully it should work now. Thanks for letting me know. And Cadbury’s is also a delicious alternative 🙂
Got it. Thanks so much.
Glad you enjoyed them. We love them around here!
Thank you for sharing the recipe and the great how- to video!
