I’m playing Gwendolen in an upcoming production of The Importance of Being Earnest at Persephone Theatre (so excited!) The theatre is having a wig made for me (it’s going to fit like a glove), and today I had a fitting. Never done anything quite like this before.
Then the plastic “mold” was yanked off my head (with a bit of difficulty) and will be sent to Vancouver where the wig is being made. This is fantastic. Wearing an ill-fitting wig is a very uncomfortable experience, but I love working with good quality wigs. Can’t wait to see the final result!
